New Feature: Bottle Label Preview

We had several requests for a quick and simple way to help identify a wine by seeing the labels. Hopefully this feature fits the bill.

Imagine that you tasted a wine last week at a party but couldn't remember much about it except for one or two words. Let's say that wine was a 1991 Silver Oak cab from Alexander Valley. If you only remember "1991 Silver Oak" you would end up with 3 search matches. Which one is it?

You could look at each match to find one that has a label that you remember, or...

We now show you a small camera icon next to the wines that have bottle labels in the search results. Just hover over the icon with your mouse as shown and you'll get a nice, small preview of the bottle label.

We have a Blog!

These are exciting times at WineUp! Progressing through our public beta has taught us many things about our assumptions of usability, individual preferences, and features. Being a small company allows us to react to those lessons quickly; producing new features and tweaking the site to better meet your needs and expectations.
